Week 3: Jets vs Titans

Headline: "It started out as a decent fight, but in the end - Ed Reed and his defense takes it to the house."

Quarter 1:
Nothing much at all happened here. Neither team scored and it was pretty much a defensive battle.

Score: 0-0

Quarter 2:
On probably the longest drive of the game, Stafford pushed the ball slowly up the field to eventually have to settle for a field goal. But no wait, after a hitting the kicker penalty - the Jets have yet another chance to put up the first points on the board. The player after the penalty - Stafford connects with M. Massaqoui for a 11 yard cross route in the end zone.

After the score the Titans come 3 and out. The jets push the ball down the field once again, this time setting up for a field goal, and put up 3 more points.

Score: 10-0 Jets


Quarter 3:

This Quarter things start to pick up for the Jets offense and go down for the Titans Offense(a handful of penalties, Int and Fumbles, would set them up for the 45-3 loss)

The Jets push there way down the field to let rookie Sheets force his way in there for 6.

On the next drive, Ed Reed took a Collins Int 50 yards for the TD.

That was about all that happened in Quarter 3.

Score: 24-0 Jets


Quarter 4:

The final quater seen alot of mistakes by the Titans offense and the Titans only points of the game as well.

The first drive of the fourth quater ended with Stafford Tossing a 7 yard TD to M Massqoui.

On the ensuing kickoff the returner for the Titans fumbled, D. Foxforth picks up the ball and walks it 30 yards for the TD

On the titans next drive, it ends with another fumble in which E. Biggers takes it 23 yards for the TD.

On the last drive of the game, the Titans offense wake up a bit and drive the ball down far enough to put up 3 points before the clock runs out.

Final: 45-3 Jets
